The REUNION Won an Award for the Best Audio Fiction (Standalone) at the Apulia Web Fest 2025 in Corato, Italy

On September 14th, 2025, The REUNION Audio Drama in Six Episodes (what is The REUNION about?) became a winner in the category of Audio Fiction (Standalone) at the Apulia Web Fest 2025 in Corato, Italy. There were 12 nominations in this category, and we send greetings to all other nominees, and thanks to the Apulia Web Fest organizers. The win was unexpected but highly appreciated.
I’m in a blue jacket in the photo above, with my wife Rena to my right.
I also would like to thank everyone in our creative team, and everyone of my family and friends for support and good faith.

Back to the event in Corato at Apulia Web Fest
The Apulia Web Fest was a fantastic event in a small but beautiful town of Corato. The organizers setup interesting screenings for participants from many countries, such as US, Brazil, Poland, UK and many others besides Italy, of course. They made a great program of social and entertainment events, such as a guitarist singing Italian arias and popular songs for the whole room to singalong and dance:
Wine tasting of local Puglia wines, a tour of Corato, and tasting local food and deserts:

We all enjoyed their hospitality and upbeat aura.

And here’s a video of my speech after the screening of a five-minute presentation of The REUNION. While it is an Audio Drama, on YouTube and Spotify it has versions with illustration. To make that five-minute video, I combined some small fragments of The REUNION, such as to give some taste of what it is, but not divulge any spoilers. After all, the whole project is in six episodes, about an hour each. You can find the five-minute presentation of The REUNION at the end of this blog, along with my 50-second greeting.
As a Beatles fan, I was pleasantly surprised to see an Abbey Road tabletop in a cafe in Corato! It also has an Octopuss’s Garden underneath! You know one of my blogs here has all kinds of Abbey Road spoofs.

And here’re the five-minute brief presentation of The REUNION, and my 50-second greeting to the Apulia Web Fest:
Thank you! Grazie mille!
